Fusion library update/sync issue

Hi,

My fusion library/pcb link does not appear to be working as expected. I have a component in a library which I've updated in every possible way I can think of, but the changes does not trasmitt to the design, and the update manager reports "nothing to do", or design updated w/o changes of the footprint in the PCB view, but when I open the library/component I get the correct amended footprint, so the link is there but the footprint is maybe cached and not overwritten or something?

Things I've tried:

1. Multiple updates of footprint and component (v11 now)

2. Manually replacing/updating library/removing+re-adding

3. Deleted library and re-downloaded from SnapEDA

4. Confirmed that there's only one package in the package options found by right clicking the component

What else can I do? Is there some cache files connected to this that I can delete?

Hello @ragnar_tollin,

I hope you're doing well. The issue here actually has nothing to do with the library. The pads are swelling because of the annular ring settings. Go to Design Preferences > Annular Ring and adjust the settings so that what you have designed in the library wins out.

See this link for more details about how this feature works and why your footprint on the board looks different from what you did in the library.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Kind of obvious now that you mention it. Thanks for great support despite the stupid question 😉
