I have made a few PCBs now and I am starting to understand some things I want. However, whenever I get to the Cam processing for Gerber files I have to relearn how to get the files I need included every time. Question one, how do I make the layer 25 names top generate a file? (as an example) Question 2, can I make a file that has all of my preferences included? Right now it shows that I am using template_2_layer.cam. I can not find that file. I would like to make a my_2_layer.cam file that has my preferences. I am sure this is simple but I can not find the documentation.

Thank you for the reply. That video shows exactly what I had figured out by myself. The default settings do not include all of the layers I need. How do I add a layer to the Gerber processing?

Hi @colinNJB25,

I hope you're doing well. You can add sections to the gerber section by clicking on the plus sign in the bottom left of the CAM processor.

In any gerber section you can edit the layers by clicking the edit layers option.

Let me know if you continue to run into problems.
