FUSION 360 : Problem to change the color of the "Symbols 94".

Hello everyone,

I can't change the color of the outline of the components of an electronic diagram

Currently I have a white outline for the components (Following an error of handling) and I want to change it, but no window appears when I click on the first icon color Appearance?

How do I get back to the default colors?

Thanks in advance.

David.

Hi, @dav.lamb22

You could go to the user preference dialog and press "reset to default" key to reset the color change in the display panel. The "reset" key inside the display panel can only reset the current change committed during editing.

Thanks,

Yiqiu

Hi Yiqiu,

davlamb22_0-1660296719950.png

press "reset to default" key to reset the color change in the display panel, but  the color of the outline of the components of an electronic diagram stays White

I must be on the wrong configuration window?

Thanks,

David.

You could change any value in electronics preference to make "reset to default" pressable.

The white status for the first time is a limitation, currently please try the above-mentioned workaround.😄

Hi, @dav.lamb22

Sorry for my unclear explanation. Let me clarify the status:

In the current Fusion 360 production build, due to some problem, we cannot reset the color change in the display panel id it has been applied. You can refer to the below captures to reset it manually for now.

Once the problem gets resolved in the future, You can reset all changes applied in the display panel from a "reset to default" operation in the preference dialog. Although layer color option doesn't exist in the preference dialog.

Thanks for the picture, but when i click on first icone Apparence, the window "Choose Layer color" doesn't open:

davlamb22_1-1660650988680.png

And i can't change color for "Choose Layer color"...

For me there is a bug... (due to the fact that the outline color was set to white by mistake during one of my previous manipulations).

-> Do the test yourself by setting the color to white(All values to 0x00) and you will notice that you will not have access to this configuration the following times.

I really hope you will understand my problem this time.

Thanks

David.

Hi @dav.lamb22,

If you want to restore the default colors do this.

1. Go to the automation menu

2. Click the script icon(last one on the right)

3. Run the defaultcolors script.

That will get you back to the default state and you can mod from there.

Let me know if there's anything I can do for you.
