Hello @Anonymous ,

Can you provide a bit more details? Is your EAGLE account in online mode or offline? It will be helpful if you can show a screenshot.

Hi @Anonymous , can you add a board outline in EAGLE and try it again?

Hi yqliu

Unfortunately I have tried that still not working. Could you show me how to link a PCB outline from Fusion and pull it into Eagle ?  All the info i have found has showed older versions of fusion / eagle not the new version. maybe its software issue ?

Cheers

Hi @Anonymous ,

I looked at your video carefully and now I know the reason. You are using EAGLE 9.5.2 and that version only supports the old PCB feature. To support the new Fusion electronics 3D PCB you need to update EAGLE to v 9.6.0

By the way, did you try the Fusion electronics workflow of opening of the brd just inside Fusion and then "View 3D PCB"?

Hi @yqliu

Amazing thanks for that it worked, i was so sure it was all updated! also i did try the design electronics in fusion and thats very good! so is that the same as using Eagle ? so whats the difference between Eagle and fusion electronics design. Thanks for your time and response 🙂

Hi Emanuel,

Glad to know it's working now.

If you do a lot of ECAD<>MCAD integration, you will find working in Fusion Electronics is much easier and more powerful.  For example, you can create 3D packages in Fusion directly using the Fusion modeling tools or the Fusion version of package generator. It's not perfect at this moment, but please try and share your comments or suggestions to us.

Cheers,

Richard

Hi @yqliu

Thanks for your help and support over past few days 🙂 I have been using the Fusion 360 electronics design all day and very impressed. Love the software! Especially when We are all stuck at home.
