[Feature Request] Cross probe selected components

I'd like to cross-probe multiple selected of components, i.e. select the components in the schematic and highlight them in the layout, or vice versa.

I see other solutions involving the use of select-sch-group-to-brd-group.ulp. However, invoking that ULP causes Fusion 360 to crash

Any other suggestions?

Hi @grahamKB84N

I hope you are doing well!

The crash has been reported to our develop team.

I will keep you updated when we fix the crash.

Why ULP? Why not implement that feature direct into the core?

100% agree. This should be a core feature, and I've seen multiple requests in the past. The "show" tool needs to be removed and replace with native cross-probe whenever a selection is made. This is how most other design tools work.

Hi @grahamKB84N and @silvio3105,

Thanks for adding your voices to the request for this feature. I've documented the thread so that it can be incorporated into future development plans.
