My schematic and board are showing as not consistent and sync is deactivated.  ERC says there are zero consistency errors.  There are no issues to sync.  My design work has completely stopped.  Help!!!  How do I recover?

Hi @dresselhaus.dan ,

I hope you're doing well. I've seen this happen before but have never gotten a reproducible example. What where you doing when the consistency got deactivated. Have you used the synchronizer? If you have how?

The more detail we can get the better will be able to help. There's a good chance I'll be asking you for files.

If you are in a bind, the best thing to do is to restore from a previous version of the design.

Let me know if there's anything I can do for you.

Best Regards,

I did manage to roll my design back to the point before the consistency error issue.  I saved that as my latest version.  Not a straightforward process, though.  For me to accept this as a solution for others, you need to give the steps for rolling back.

Thank you for giving me a direction and get me back to work.
