ElectronicsPackageGenerator error when starting Fusion 360

When starting Fusion 360, I get the error from the attached screenshot.
I Already tried to uninstall and install the product from scratch, but the error remains.

Running Fusion 360 on a 2019 MacBook Pro with macOS Catalina (10.15.7)

thanks for reporting this problem. This is maybe a issue of package generator to support case sensitive OS.

we made a fix in the upcoming update of fusion.  meanwhile, you can try to manully fix it. 

 

in the following path

your machine pathyour machine path

please rename the folder "Resources" to "resources" and give a try. 

hope this works for you.

Thank you for this workaround until the fix is released.

Yes I do use a case sensitive file system which is not the usual configuration on a mac. Sorry I forgot to mention this in my initial post.

We have a good news to share with you that we have put a fix in today's latest update of Fusion 360 (version 2.0.9439).

Could you please have a double check to see whether it works for you or not?

I am unable to test your fix, because the lastest version crashes upon Start. I could only submit a report (which I did).

With the help of Phil, I was able to get Fusion 360 running again, without any error on startup.
So I would say the initial issue is solved in the latest version.

For anyone else who might face this before we can issue an update:

I've contacted everyone who sent in a crash report for this error, as of this hour. If you get a crash error dialog, please send it in.
