Electronics: Hiding profiles in a sketch breaks editing 3D PCB component

When I'm editing the outline sketch in a 3D PCB, and I hide profiles in the sketch palette, the setting is retained after finishing the sketch. When I then try to edit the PCB feature, I cannot select any profiles because they are still hidden. I would expect the profiles to always be visible in this mode, since it makes no sense otherwise, and there is no sketch palette to re-enable profiles. As a workaround, I have to cancel editing the PCB feature, re-open the outline sketch, activate "show profiles" in the sketch palette, leave the sketch and edit the PCB feature again.

(Please note that I'm using the german version of F360 and I'm freely translating the UI element names here)

Hi isdhe,
Thank you for taking the time to participate in the Fusion 360 forums, your comments and question always help us and other users. It is possible to edit the sketch profile in the 3DPCB.  At the bottom task bar go to the context menu available under PCB and select the option to edit the Sketch.

I hope this helps.

Ed,

I'm aware of this feature, and the outline sketch that will open after clicking that is exactly the sketch I'm talking about. If I turn off the checkbox "Show Profile" in the Sketch Palette, finish the sketch and then right-click the feature again to select "Edit Board", I can no longer choose any profile from the board outline, since the "Show Profile" filter is still applied.

As there is no way to change that filter while in "Edit Board", I consider this to be a bug. I have to cancel "Edit Board", re-open the sketch and enable "Show Profiles" before I can update the 3D board.

Hi @isedhe ,

I know exactly what you are talking about. As far as I know, there is no way to re-enable the sketches once you are in Edit board. I've run into this myself.

I'll go report since I agree this should be addressed.
