Hello Autodesk,

I Have One Major Issue .

I Am Designing a pcb layout and I Want a USB Type C Footprint In It. I Created Correct Footprint in the library and it shows accurate in library but when I placed it in the layout its pads are overlapping each other even if clearance is less than pitch of the pads.I have to complete this faster but this issues take my valuable time.

I faced this issue 2nd time. Last time with IC and this time with connector.I have Posed another issue 2-3 days ago but no one replies me.

I Am attaching footprint from library and footprint from layout.

I hope Autodesk Resolve This Faster.

Hi @yuvraj_wadye ,

I hope you're doing well. This comes up often. What happens here is that the restring settings are overriding the pad diameters you defined in the library.

See the link for the full explanation.

Basically, you just have to adjust the annular ring settings so that the library definition wins out.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,
