Eagle CAM gerber to mechanical or laser cuttter.

I am currently working on a 13hp Eurorack module, for which I have a 5"x2.6" pcb created in Eagle, with jacks, a rotary encoder, tact switches, LED's, and 7-segment LED digits.  Part of the "standard" CAM process involves creating the Gerber plot files for the various layers. What I would like to do, however, is use that Gerber information to begin the design of the front panel with the hole cutouts laid out correctly concentric with the throuigh-hole parts to be mounted on the PCB. There does not seem to be much in the way of information on how to use Gerber data as an overlay in Fusion to either direct a laser cutter or mill to make such a panel.

Hi @asgard42,

I hope this message finds you well. Is there any reason, you wouldn't want to push the board to 3D PCB and then derive a sketch from the 3D PCB. From there you can draw your panel on that sketch. I did something like that for a pedal enclosure.
