Duplicate libraries to choose - How to get rid of?

Hi there

I now try to work only in FUSION electronics but I saw a strange behaviour.  If I update after changeing library content I see two available urn libs to update from. But both have the same name but nit the some content.

How can I choose the one lib with the correct content? One is wrong but no way to know that in advance. Both have the same name so I forded to do chech if it right or wrong. with one lib that is not a problem but with more this behaviour is anoying.

Regards, Harald

Hi, I am facing a similar problem but in your case, I think it would help to open the library manager, under the tab "In use" select the one you don't want to use and click on remove.
This will move it to the "Available" tab so it will not be deleted but at least it should not ask you again.

thanx for help

In fact I do not see two libraries in the "In Use" tab. Only the one I am using. Sure that should be like this. In the "In design" tab I see both libs but I can not get rid of the one I do not need. I would need to remove the library.io libs and have only TEAM libs in my design. But that, as far as I can see, is not possible.

Hi @HarrySatt ,

I've contacted our developers on this. This looks very strange, as far as I know it's impossible for two different libraries to have the same URN.

I'll let you know what I hear back.

Hi

Thanx. I also found that a bit confusing. But that the contents of this two URNs is different makes it more a disaster.

Same thing, only in library while importing footprint from another library.

Also, Fusion enables built-in libs(probably after every update) even when I disable them.

I don't what to use or to see Fusion libs because I have my own libs.

This is nothing unusual, I've had it happen too.
Before I went deep-diving in my libraries to figure out what was going on, I had 6 (SIX) variants of my main library.
One local, some at Library.io, some at TeamHub.
That was exciting!
