Consistency Error

I get a consistency error more or less every day. Even when all files in the projects are open. It seems that they occur 1) when fusion is closed, or 2) when fusion crashes. The latter also happens every day.

When is forward backwards annotation going to be fixed? At this point it is too big of a risk to design large boards in fusion, since the cost of redoing every time a consistency error occurs is too high.

I believe I have found part of my problem. CTRL+S does not work in the "Electronics Design" tab. From the save tab, CTRL+S is said to work.

It seems like the saving on close does not work properly.

As do I. I have basically given up on Fusion Electrical until its more stable. There is definitely great potential here, but I think it should have been kept in beta for a while longer.

Hi @erik.buerV95QJ,

Make sure to always save from the Electronic Design Document. When you save there you'll see that the cascade operation will flow to the schematic and boards that are linked together. If you click Save on the schematic it will only save that schematic. Forward and Backward annotation works perfectly if you keep the schematic and the board open together at all times but the saving mechanism imposes the limitation of having to go to the electronics design document.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

I am seeing similar consistency errors between Schematic and Board, ERC is stating "Different Connections on ..." but I am not able to resolve them.

is there any way to resolve these inconsistencies?

great potential, but this is VERY beta still...

Hi @david.g.johnson,

I hope you're doing well. To resolve the consistencies you have to run the ERC and then correct the inconsistency errors manually. There are some save issues we are running into.

Thanks for bringing this up, we are working hard to get everything resolved.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
