Closing small gaps in poured ground layer

Hello, I would like to close small gaps that have been left after Polygon pouring for the ground layer or make some small additions to improve the shape. I have tried to reuse Polygon pour command, but it seems to generate an empty dashed polygon that doesn't seem to add an additional ground.

I am attaching an example of what I would like to achieve.

Thank you,

Ilia Vitsnudel

Hi Constantin,

I have added the ObjectType = Wire condition to Object 2, but it still
didn't work.
Then I tried to temporarily remove the wire that is coming to the pad and
then I was able to widen the arc and get appropriate Anti-pad size (i.e.
the gap between the pad and the surrounding ground).
So I added another design rule to try to resolve the problem with an
incoming signal. It looks like this:
Object 1:
Object Type = Wire
In Signal = N$A1_S3 (incoming wire)
Object 2:
Object Type = Wire
In Signal = DGND (added arc - wide wire)
But this didn't help.
Do you have a method to print-out why the property change failed?

Thank you,
Ilia

Hi @ilia.vitsnudel Ilia,

I can't see any problem with the rule scopes you have added. The only question is if any of the wires is supposed to be part of the copper pour outline because that would not work because the copper pours are not checked by DRC because they are DRCed when they are poured. So for the Object 1 / Object 2 scopes do you expect any of the 2 wires to be part of the copper pour outline or these are just wires that you have routed? Also I asume that the copper clearance value you have for this rule is bigger than the general wire-wire rule.

Can you please send some snapshots if possible or a movie if that's not too much to ask?

Thanks a lot.

Hello @ilia.vitsnudel,

Can you post a screenshot of the final custom clearance rules and layout to show the end results?

Thank you.
