Can Fusion make wiring drawings like this?

I'm working on a project and would like to document the wiring. This is what I am working with (note the large din rail connectors). The unit has LED light drivers and lights, 24vdc Fans, 120VAC plugs, a PLC, a HMI screen, and a Solenoid valve. Nothing crazy. Can fusion Model this electronically and can I build a wiring diagram? See image below of the electrical cabinet and a supplier provided snippet of their Autocad drawing. Please instruct me where to start.

Hi @crimsonprecisionllc,

I hope you're doing well. Fusion 360 isn't really setup for drawing wiring diagrams. In a strictly technical sense it is possible, but you would have to create an entire library of wiring diagram symbols yourself. This would be a massive task.

I'll put this in as a feature request.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hello @crimsonprecisionllc ,

you can have a look at Eagle and try to do this with Eagle or import the existing Eagle-Libraries into Fusion 360:
Until Version 7.7 there were libraries for electrical installations:

There was also a PDF-File with documantation in the installation-folder (only in german, sorry).

You can find the installation-files here http://eagle.autodesk.com/eagle/software-versions/1

Like @jorge_garcia said, in the truest sense Fusion isn't setup to do that but it really depends on the level of detail required. Most component manufacturers these days offer 3D models available for download or you can just create a simplified representation of the part. Then for the schematic just make your symbols as dumb as possible while still getting the point across. Spend your time clearly defining pins and termination points and don't worry about the rest.

@dan_loveTKK4G  - I agree!  I would definitely use this feature a great deal and would love to move all of my electrical CAD work into one solution.  Right now, my company is spread over 3 different pieces of software to create product.
