Appearance of generated 3D packages

Hi,

appearance of generated 3D packages are polished. Does not look good.

Hi @silvio3105,

 

It looks like you are doing a rendering. If you don't like the appearance of the  surface mount components you can always go into the library and change the material properties so that it's not a mirror finish.

 

It's possible the render environment allows you to modify this as well but I'm not familiar enough with the rendering environment to know for sure.

Yes, that is a render. In 3D workspace it does not look like this.
I did not know how pads will look like since there's no PCB in 3D view of footprint in library and I was lazy but I did not expect to have mirror finish.
I hope AD will change default material for generated 3D models.
Not big deal for me, just to be clear.
