After changing a devices symbol, I'm getting a wired error

Hi there,

I'm getting a wired error after changing the symbol of a device.

My device consists out of several schematic symbols.

I've moved three pins from one symbol to another and renamed them as well.

The connections in the device have been changed accordingly.

I've saved and synced the managed library.

Then I've updated the library in the schematic and board as well.

As assignment I've chosen Name over Coordinates.

The synchroniser does not show anything up.

I've searched the internet for an explanation, but not found anything.

Can't get rid of those errors.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi @markus.fischbacher ,

I hope you're doing well. When you did the update were both editors open? The errors that are coming up are related to inconsistency like when you make a change when one of the editors is closed.

Could you provide more information?

Hi Jorge,

thanks for your reply.

For sure, I had both editors open.

I fixed it by deleting the affecting part from the schematic and board. Re-adding an everything was fine.

But yesterday I had to change the footprint of that device once more.

Got exactly the same problem and was not able to fix it by deleting the part in schematic and board.

I'm alway getting the ERC message, dass the device is missing on the board.

The only way to get rid of it was to delete the board file an re-generate it. Annoying.

I switched back to EAGLE. It's to risky to work with Fusion Electronics for me.
The overall experience is a way worse with FE. I appreciate to be able to use EAGLE still.

Hi @markus.fischbacher ,

I hope you're doing well. Would you be able to share an example file? The fact that the issue repeats with the same device hints that there may be some issue with that specific device. Any files you could share will help us nail this down.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hi Jorge,

yes, I can provide an archive exported from Fusion.
Where can I privately upload the file to?

Is there everything in it you need?
