Hi @hato54 ,

I hope you're doing well. How did you move the components? If you just moved the components on the 3D PCB, those moves need to be pushed back to the 2D PCB and then from there pushed to 3D PCB again to update everything.

If you can provide more info that would be helpful.

In the past I have had to update back and forth about 3 or 4 times from 3d model to PCB board layout to 3d model and back and forth like that after all after using the move tool in the 3d environment to locate elements/ footprints to MCAD components.   I think the board layout file has a higher priority for push updates going into 3d and therefore getting the update to happen backwards takes more update cycles to get everything situated.   Not 100% sure what happens under the hood but that is just my take on it.

Hi

I moved the components in the 2Dpcb.

Started over again, had to finish it.

Best regards

This is a real mess. Try the ULP cmd-renumber. After that the PCB is gone and all the work related to this in FUSION360.

I asked for a sulotion already and the error was exepted. But in fact there seems no change in behalf to this problem.

Please fix this and all the other really boring problems the integration of EAGLE to FUSION360 brougth to us.

At the time it is really hard to work with FUSION360 electronics and it is hard to stay calm and wait for a working concept. At that time it is far out and getting this hard time for a lot of money.

think of this.

Regards, Harald

PS: Thinking to change to KiCAD until FUSION360 is maybe ready in a year or so.

I think we have to be very patient with this EAGLE (FUSION360) in the moment. What I mean is that I think that most of the problems come with synchronisation problems. What I do now if I changed names (f.e. with cmd_renumber.ulp) I save all my work and shut down FUSION360. After a new start it works. If I dont the PCB is gone.

What a mess.

Hi @HarrySatt ,

I hope you're doing well. I'll double check cmd_renumber.ulp, if I recall correctly the key thing with it is to never interrupt it. Even if it brings up errors just OK them all and it should work.

I know things are not in a great place right now but it is being worked on.

Hi

It seems that in case this problems with renumber occurs it is the best to close FUSION360. This shows that some files need to be stored and that takes a bit longer. After restart cmd-renumber works. I than save again all the work and close FUSION360 and after that all works well.

This is a work around but not really satisfying. If I do not as described above I loose the 3d PCB and therefore have to rework the design I am using it in.

Regards, Harald
