When I click Move after Unroute: it locks in an odd state, I cannot select a device.

A disorder is on display (see attached picture).

Another odd state: I added a net segment, right click, Name, it highlights „Net“, but it is set to „name“ mode, and clicking to „Net“ icon does not change the chosen frozen option (not changes back to Net). User must click to Select for set to defined state, and then click Net icon.

I added a new part into the library. The part contained only a symbol (no footprint).

I added part into schematics. A new attribute was added to part.

But the part is not listed in the BOM.

I changed the part definition in the library, I added a footprint.

I choose Update of schematics from library: an error detected, approximately „attribute is not in board, inconstitency“.

Wish list:

when the simple Select command is chosen, its move trigger is too sensitive. It is triggered too frequently without intent. It is worrying. I vote for a lower sensitivity (a longer drag for triggering the Move regime is needed).

In the old Eagle versions, there was possibility to cut group, load second board, and paste group. Now, a transfer between windows is not possible. I vote for possibility of copy a group from one schematics to another schematics, both opened in Fusion simultaneously.
Optional: copy a corresponding part of layout too (e.g. to left bottom corner of layout, where new parts appears after add into schematics).

Thanks in advance

When a user selects the Show command, clicks to any net, it highlights. When the user clicks to the same net again, nothing happen. I suggest: when the user clicks to the same net again, the net gets dark for some time (cca 1/4 second) and highlights again. Blinking makes the net more visible, include little net segments (e.g. lone pad) in surrounding complicated areas with high luminace.

Hi @zdenekZzz ,

Thank you very much for your feedback. Much appreciated!

For the first 2 issues you mentioned:

I am able to reproduce the issue you described, and I will log the ticket to our dev team. I will keep you be posted if any.

The workaround is not using the command via right click > Context menu but invoking the command in toolbar directly.

Hope it helps a little.

Best regards,

Helen

Hi @zdenekZzz ,

For this one:

We cannot reproduce this issue you described yet. When we are trying to add part which only has a symbol (no footprint), it will pop up below error message to block further work unless the symbol pin direction is SUP.

Device-NotFootprint (1).png

However even if the pin direction is sup, we cannot reproduce the issue you have.

Could you please record a short video to demonstrate this issue? Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

Helen

I am able to group copy from schematic A to paste them in schematic B which are opening in Fusion at the same time.

Do you mind sharing a short video to demonstrate the issue? Thanks a lot!

Hi,

You are right, copy is possible, pressing Paste is necessary in this case, in contrast to copy in one schematic.

Hi @zdenekZzz ,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

Yes, please press Paste to get the expected result when copy/paste cross files. Thanks.

For the selection too sensitive issue, I will feedback to our development team too. Thank you.

For the library issue, could you please have a check my comments above? Thanks!

Hope you have a great day.

Best regards,

Helen

Hello, I have met next issue:

I drew a package of a terminal block in library. I had an old version of the block, consisting of 4 PTH pads and some lines in the tPlace layer. I defined a group of the old 4 PTH pads and a few lines in tPlace layer (borders of input holes). I clicked the Copy icon and then I clicked Ctrl-right mouse button: 4 new pads appeared on the display with proper new numbers, the 4 old pads remain on their place, but the lines in the tPlace layer do not remain on their place. Only new lines appeared on display, moving to a new place with the cursor. I placed both PTH pads and a few old-new lines. When I defined next group on a new place and clicked Copy and Ctrl-RMB again, the newly placed lines correctly remain on their new place.

When user Move files in the Data panel, a windows "Move to" appeared and offered a way to destination directory, but always beginning with the root directory. Users move many files (usually 4), to the identical directory, different from root. Users must always select the entire way by many clicks again and again. I suggest to remember the last destination directory and offer it as an initial destination.

Airwires are often drawn to far pads, instead of drawing to near break of the route of identical signal. Near smooth part of the route would be best.

Loading a graphical symbol through import-bmp.ulp: in a Scale setting window, there is option for mils and mm, but check for scale input value does not differentiate between mils and mms: low limit is always 0.01 (true for mils, but not for mms).

Grid setting changed of itself, to value 0.4 mil. Old setting was probably 0.1 mm.

Hi @zdenekZzz ,

Hope all is well.

For your suggestion about the selection not so sensitive, we have improved the selection behavior about this in latest Fusion version 2.0.17710. Could you please upgrade to latest version to experience it and let us know your feedback?

Much appreciated!

Best regards,

Helen

I have created a new device in library. It has 2 PTH pads (simple connector). When I place the device into my design, device's footprint contains 2 pads with copper annulus much bigger than in library. There is only very narrow space between this copper annuluses. Shape: round. I tried change "auto" setting of diameter to certain dimension, but nothing happened, annuluses are stil much bigger than in library. I tried change shape of annulus to hexagon, changed diameter to smaller size, placed device again: there is bigger space between annuluses, but anuluses are still bigger than in library.

Hello @zdenekZzz,

I hope you're doing well. This is due to the annular ring settings, you have to adjust them so that what you set in the library will win out over the annular ring settings. See this page for more info

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

When I create assembly diagrams of the top side, silkscreen (tPlace = 21, tNames = 25) is visible over a copper (top layer = 1) in .pdf file from the Print command, it is normal. But bottom silkscreen (bPlace = 22, bNames = 26) is not visible over a bottom copper (16), it is unpleasant, especially when the bottom is filled by the copper (GND), nothing is visible.
P. s.: The silkscreen on the top side have a higher priority during painting, it is not painful (if size of silkscreen motives is not big). But some mixing of colors would be better (similarly as they are mixing on a display).
P.s. 2: My colleague has Fusion too, but his program prints bottom side correctly, with priority for bPlace layer. We are not able to find, what is different.

Hi @zdenekZzz ,

I hope you're doing well. Would you be willing to post the diagrams? From the description I'm having trouble visualizing how the files where rendered. It sounds like the rendering order is off but I would like to see it.
