Viewing PCB layout online won't show copper pours

I was trying to set up a PCB layout review with a colleague and when testing out to make sure the link to the design works I noticed that none of my copper pours are showing online, just the traces. I double-checked the Fusion drawings to make sure everything was correct there. Has anyone seen this?

Hi @Anonymous

thank you for your message here in the Fusion Electronics Forum.

I tried what you described and could see the same result. In my 2D PCB the copper pour is visible, but in the web view it is not. I already contacted a colleague of the dev team and he confirmed this behaviour.

The reason for this is that in earlier versions of Fusion Electronics, the polygon filling have not been stored in the board file and it could not be displayed in the web view.
Meanwhile the polygon handling in the 2D PCB has changed and it could be more "easily" displayed in the web view.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Best regards,

I have the same issue, but even in the local Fusion. I simply saved my board (it was showing the pours) but when I opened the board again today, the pours are gone. I think it happened either because I miltered exiting polygon or because the holes were touching the polygon. Once they dissapear there is no way to get them back as far as I can tell.  I even tried deleting the polygons and re-creating the pours from scratch with no avail. We are basically blocked with this issue now and we can't send the board to the fab.

Hi @Anonymous ,

By default, when you open a file the polygons are unfilled. You can refill them by clicking show polygons under the polygon menu. They dont need to be filled for the manufacturing data to be generated correctly.

There's also no need to redraw them.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
