Vias with stop mask

Hi,

How to add stop mask to vias? Stop mask checkbox in via property window makes no effect and in (new?) DRC window via limit is missing. Why is via limit needed at all?

Hi @silvio3105,

Please see the snapshot below regarding where you can find the Limit property:

Youn can use the command designpreferences in the CLI and then go to Masks tab. If the Limit is set to 0 then all the vias will have solder-mask. As an example I have set the Limit to 20mil and I unchecked the Stop Mask check-box and now there is no Soldermask displayed for this via, please see the sanpshot below:

Can you please try this and let me know how you go with it?
