Update from this morning, a small point is necessary...😡

I'm going to repeat myself, but it doesn't matter, an update this morning and a big migraine, everything crashed, impossible to open Fusion, or even opened I had the message of crashing in same time, it was just a file had to be deleted to solve the problem !! SERIOUS ? you couldn't say it before? you couldn't include it in the update? Nope ? we're going to Mars now !

I'm sorry to tell you that you don't respect your customers.

Regarding this update once again you have changed the look a bit, you are proud to have added new ICON! but the main thing is WHERE?? copy/paste them, flexibility, speed, editing of simplified components, logo import in less than 40 minutes, I'll stop there otherwise there will be two pages...

How long does a developer take to modify an ICON versus adding simple copy paste everywhere like all the software on the planet does ?

When are you going to understand that changing the LOOK a little, we don't cares ! we want efficiency and flexibility like all other competing software.

I know that this message will be useless since I will be told that I do not understand the Autodesk philosophy and that I am not aligned with the planets !!!

NO I DO NOT UNDERSTAND YOUR PHILOSOPHY WHICH IS TO COMPLICATE THE WORK OF YOUR CUSTOMERS, AND I'LL  STAY CORRECT.

Hi @RitchieFromParis ,

I think you wrote this before Pawel took care of you, but let me know specifically what is still affecting your work right now.

I know you are upset but unless you tell me specifically what issues you are running into I can't do that much to help. Copy and Paste should be working as expected. Ctrl(Cmd)+C/ Ctrl(Cmd)+V  should work like they do in every software that was a key part of the implementation. If you are seeing something different please let me know.

Best Regards,

Good evening Jorge and thank you for your answer

I lost another day because of this update, so yes I am upset and I am sure you understand.

Yes Pawel helped me and noticed the crashes, but it seems to be stabilized for the moment.

Indeed you are right the copy/paste finally works in the same project, my apologies but this was not the case before, but not from one project to another for some reason that I do not know.

I am aware that it is not easy for you but also for me because of the time lost for several months.

Thank you

Hi Jorge

I'm sorry to report that keyboard copy and paste doesn't work in the component editor, but other than that the ICONS are nice 😡.

Copy a PAD on a component's foot print to another foot print and doesn't works, you must use the COPY/PAST ICONS.

If you don't trust on me I can send you a video.

It's incredible...

Hi @RitchieFromParis,

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Could you please click any place of the footprint editor's canvas before you press Ctrl+V to past the copied pads from another footprint?

Suppose it should work and helps a little.

Best regards,

Helen

You are the best Helen many thanks and fortunately you are here, I wish Fusion management was as efficient as you are...but don't dream.

Thanks Helen.

Helen is indeed the best.  Be kind to her Ritchie as she can definitely find the bugs "management" misses.  She will help you stay productive and works hard to create the reproducible case.

Hi Matt,

I know,  and Luckily she's here with Pawel (both) Panpanfan, Ludovic (French) Francis...

The better technical team I ever seen, But I would prefer not to deal with them, that would mean that Fusion works perfectly.

Agree,... except that would also mean the Community would not be needed... and I'm not ready to retire just yet.  🤣

But seriously, it is good to have such a responsive team that is willing to spend some time here working with users when things do go wrong.
