Unable to delete polygon cutout

In my board there are polygon cutouts on layer 2.

I'm unable to do anything with them, except copy and use the change tool to move layers.

The properties dialog is all greyed out except the lock tickbox.

Can't move them. Can't select them.

I want to delete them, but this does not work.

How to remove them?

All polygons on layer 2 appear to be immutable, yet they are not locked. When changed to another layer they can be modified and deleted.

Resolved it... you can lock layers!

This has not much to do with the views of layers, but it does make the layer immutable, but does not mark the objects as locked. It can be very useful.

Unfortunately there is no way to tell a layer is locked, except from this small greyscale icon in the layer view settings.

And you can only lock layers from the menu, not unlock....

Plus "unlock all" does not unlock layers.

In my opinion this feature needs some more polish, since I've just wasted a lot of time. Maybe this:?
