Hi there,

The way to speficy single layer board:
Go to Document -> Layer Stack Manager -> By default, you will see the drop down list contains "2 layer Stack", click to open the drop down -> In last row, click "Open From Setup String ..." -> In the setup box, input "1" (top) or "16" (bottom).

Hope this helps.

Best,

Boyuan

I can't select Aluminium as a base. It is not the Material layer list. Many people use MCPCB's in the Led industry

Hi @PeterA4L,

I hope this message finds you well. I'll put this in as a feature request. With that said you don't have to worry, you can still get your design done. The stackup information doesn't make it into the gerbers so the board house can use whatever stackup they prefer.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thanks Jorge, to put this in as a feature request.
For now i can't realy use ODB++, because of the incorrect stackup information.
Coming from Eagle, I am used to make gerber files and a separate fabrication drawing with the board stackup.
(additional info: my board manufacturer uses TCB-8 from polytronics)

Just wondering if there is any progress in adding 1 layer metal-core's in the stackup

The feature request by Jorge is more than a year ago...

Hi @PeterA4L,

I hope you're doing well. Nothing to report on this yet. I thought I had created the ticket but I couldn't find it. So I have made a new ticket and added details about the need for metal core substrates.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hello everybody, I have a similar Problem. I've managed to set only one layer and add a aluminum layer underneath. My Problem now is that I tried to use THT-Pads as thermal VIAs but Fusion wont show them in the Layer Manager and wont export any drill files.

Hello @jonas_hanf2HJSL ,

I hope you're doing well. The best thing to do is to treat the board as a two layer board and only route on one side. That will allow all of the CAM job to handle the files correctly. The unused layers will just be empty.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
