Schematic text does not appear in 2D design

I used the text tool (shortcut T) to add a few lines of text to the schematic of my electronics design. That text does not appear in the 2D design of the board. I am assuming this is because the text can be in only high number layers (95, 96, etc). The 2D design does not display those layers and I don't see an option to make them visible. How do I move this text to layer 25 or 27?

@josephrudquist could I understand exactly what you would like to see here?

Not all objects from schematic automatically show up in PCB. This only applies to components and nets (everything that is part of the "netlist"). If you would like to add text to the PCB, you can add it directly to the target layer in the PCB.
