Rotate Groups of Wires

Hello,

I have these coils of wires in my PCB:

I would like to rotate these wires about the center of the circular cutout (ideally keeping their net names). Any ideas on how I can do this? The simple rotation command does not work.

Thanks

Jesse

Hi @jss.mlls,

I hope you're doing well. You want to do a group rotate to achieve what you want. Here's the procedure.

1) Make a selection that contains all of the coils

2) Activate the rotate command

3) Hold ctrl and then right-click on the point you want to be the axis of rotation.

Voila! If you want to be specific about the axis of rotation then after step 2 you  can type the specific point in the CLI with the following syntax. (> x-coord y-coord) press enter.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
