Program crashes when adding 3D package to device in custom library

I am in the process of creating a custom library in Fusion 360 electronics. I am easily able to make a symbol, footprint, and create a 3D package from that footprint. The 3D package is able to be opened independent of the the library and there is nothing wrong with the 3D file which was created by myself in Fusion 360. When creating the device I am able to click on "new" "add local package." As soon as I click on the 3D file in that pop up Fusion 360 crashes every time. I was previously able to create several devices without issue using this method but in the past few days this has started to occur. I deleted a couple devices and packages to try again and even re-drew the 3D files but the issue remains. For one 3D file I converted it to a STEP file and was able to add that to the device without issue, however I did this with another file and it didn't work. There remain some STEP and Fusion 360 files I can still choose that work though.

Any advice on where to go with this?

Hi @trevordjorgensen

I hope you are doing well! Thanks for reporting this issue to us! Sorry for the crash issue.

And I try the workflow of adding the local package in Library Editor and no crash for me.

So I guess it may be related to your special 3D package. Would do you mind sending your 3D Package file and the Library to me (panpan.fan@autodesk.com)  and describe the steps to reproduce the crash?

Then our developers can investigate and fix it as soon as possible.

Thank you very much!

Sure, I can send it to you. Do you want me to share it with you as a public link or export them as archive files?

@panpan_fan

I have emailed you both a link to the library and an archive file. I have also completed a screencast which shows the events leading up to the end where the product crashes.

Hi @trevordjorgensen

I'm glad that you have solved your problem.

And thanks again for inviting me into your project . It helps a lot to reproduce the issue and  find the root cause.

Now you can remove me from your project.
