Hello! I figured I'd post this to see if it's known, since it's easy to reproduce. I can't find it in the forums anywhere but might have missed it. I'm a free (hobby) user, so prioritize accordingly :).
I have a board with a ground plane (pour) on the bottom. A signal routes from the top through a via, a short distance on the bottom, then back to the top. I generate a 3d pcb and it looks good. I go back to the pcb and move one of the vias. Push back to the 3d pcb, and the pour has not updated correctly.
To reproduce:
Create a new design
New schematic
Put a resistor on the schematic
Short the resistor on the schematic
Switch to pcb
Create a pour on bottom under the resistor
On the top, wire from one lead, drop a via (through the pour), a bit on the bottom, via, back to other lead on top
Push to 3d pcb
Looks good!
Back to 2d pcb
Move one of the vias a little bit
Push to 3d pcb
Bottom looks funky!
I can post files, but it's trivial to reproduce. Last picture below is after moving a via.
Workaround is to break link to 3d pcb, then push again; it looks correct after that.
As I mentioned, workaround is fine for me, but I thought the simplicity of reproduction was worth posting. Or I'm doing something odd, which is a specialty of mine.
