Poor collaboration tools

When doing a board review of a PCB we are developing, my colleague opened the PCB 'project file' and it spat an automatic recovery message at him which he clicked on autopilot. Unfortunately, this was for a version of the board roughly 100 saves out of date. This hasn't removed any components but has removed the values of all passives added since. After looking at the forums for solutions, it appears there are none.

Why is it that my colleague's application tried to open a version 100 saves out of date. This seems like its destined to cause issues and lost time.

Can anyone offer a suggestion to this?

It's also the case that when re-adding values, they don't display on the schematic but this has been solved now.

Hi @robert.martinUKYP4 ,

I hope you're doing well. First off, it's always possible to restore and earlier version of the design so even if something gets messed up you can generally go through the revisions and restore from the last good one.

This sounds like a general Fusion issue, I'll reach out to one of my support colleagues to see if they have further guidance.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
