polygon cutout rank

Hello,  I am curious why polygon cutouts do not have a "rank".   I am in a situation where I want to have a higher ranked "filled" polygon inside a polygon cutout and I can not seem to make this work.   The polygon cutout just keep cutting the filled polygon inside its bounds.   I would assume that the polygon cutout would need to have a larger rank number, but please let me know how this is supposed to work if not with the ranking system.

Hi @Matt2VTBC ,

I hope you're having a great day. Cutout polygons do not have rank because they always create a void. By design they will always unfill any polys within it's boundary.

I would recommend keeping that in mind as you work with it. I'm sure you can achieve the result you are trying to get.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

I would actually very much like there to be a rank system for polygon cutouts, would spare me a lot of Frankenstein polygon cutout shapes.

I have the same problem and for cutouts to have a rank so to cutout all polygons with a lower rank would be an easy fix.

I'll put this in as a feature request.
