Pin swap on pin of length "point"

I've got a bridge rectifier in a library. The four pins are all of length "point".

When I place this on a schematic, I don't seem to be able to do a pin swap. I click Modify > Pin Swap, then click all around that top junction. No matter where I click, I get error "no object selected".

I can swap capacitors, terminals, anything with an actual pin length so I believe I'm following the correct steps. I'm fairly certain I used to be able to pin swap this exact package back in the Eagle days. Is there anything I'm missing?

Hello @n.smithHJCP5 ,

I hope you're doing well. Assuming everything is on grid this should be able to work. Could you turn on the pins layer on the schematic just to make sure pinswap values show correctly on the board. I suspect that perhaps you haven't updated the design to use the latest version of the library, turning on the pins layer will confirm it.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

I turned on the pins layer which confirms the pins are there and ranked correctly. With the pin layers on, I am able to do the pin swap.

So it seems the only way to select the pin is when the pins layer is visible. Again, this only applies to pins of length "point". I...understand why that design choice came to be. However, I don't agree that this is the ideal functionality. The schematic looks much cleaner with the pins layer turned off. I suspect many users do this as well. The fact that the pins of longer lengths _can_ be selected with the layer not visible creates an odd two tier system of selectable or not. My vote would be to make "point" length pins selectable with the layer turned off. It seems like more of a job for the selection filter to make that determination rather than layer visibility.
