Package generator produces invalid geometry

I am trying to generate a polarized capacitor using the 'Radial Generic' Package Generator which I call from within my library. It generates a weird slice of the capacitor instead of the radial package that I am expecting. I have confirmed that this happens if I used the default parameter values or try using values for my specific cap that I am interested in.  Please see my screencast for an example when using the default parameter values.  Any idea if this is a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi @rick.zrostlik,

I hope you're doing well. I thought this issue was fixed. The cause is actually the units, if you switch to metric you'll see that it forms the capacitor correctly.

I'll report this to make sure it gets addressed.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thanks @jorge_garcia

To be clear, I had to set the default units in the preferences to be in mm. Just using mm in the package generator dialog box without changing the default units still caused the bad geometry. Is this consistent with your understanding of the issue?

Thanks,

Rick
