New 4K display - Fuzzy Fusion

I just recently purchased a Dell 32 4K monitor, model G3223Q, for use with Fusion 360 and I'm rather disappointed with the results. All my other applications are sharp and crisp on this new display, even other ECAD programs like DipTrace. But Fusion 360 has a slightly fuzzy appearance. The menus, text in the panels, PCB layout, generally the whole program is not rendering nearly as well as I would expect.

This monitor has a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 and everything I run on it looks absolutely gorgeous, except for Fusion 360. What can I do to remedy this problem?

I mentioned this issue with Eagle almost 3 years ago and it has never been fixed (Fusion uses the Eagle codebase at its core). The issue is with the "High DPI" settings for the program. It's because you're probably not using a 1:1 desktop resolution, but a scaled version so it's easier to see text etc. If you right click on the icon, then go into compatibility, then "High DPI settings" you can disable it. This fixes the fuzziness, but obviously means all the menus are no longer scaled, and so are very small. I used up to 4 monitors and 2 are 4K, and like I say, this has always been an issue, even though it's been reported multiple times, by me alone, with screenshots etc. Maybe nobody on the dev team uses 4K monitors...

Hi @scottH36AU , Hi @infinitemach ,

I just want to confirm, do you see the Fuzziness with Fusion in general or only with the Electronics? If all of Fusion looks fuzzy then I have to pass that along as a general Fusion issue. If it's only in the Electronics section of Fusion then that is us.

Please confirm so that I can make the appropriate ticket.

The problem is with Fusion 360 in general, the project panel, menus, etc. The electronic design windows also have the same issue.

Hi @infinitemach,

I hope you're doing well. Thank you for confirming I've passed this along to a colleague who can report this more directly then I can. Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
