Hi @silvio3105 ,

I hope you're doing well. Both objects should have moved together. Can you elaborate more on how exactly you did the MOVE? I didn't see the command highlight in the video maybe I missed it.

A left-click and drag will move both. If you activate the MOVE command by itself and just click the via then it will only move the via. If you want to move the whole selection it's cmd+right click (that's how all GROUP or selection operations worked originally and it's still a valid consistent workflow now).

If I missed something in the video let me know.

Selected both objects, right click, properties and typed new position.

This workflow does not work but if I select objects and type new position in inspector panel, then it works for both objects.

For workflow with right click -> properties - why both objects are highlighted when change will be applied only on one object?

Hi @silvio3105 ,

Thanks for bumping this and the posts I have missed from you. The right-click menu always applies to single objects, with the exception of a group entry at the end of the menu if you have a command active. This is how it was designed to work and it's deeply entrenched in the Electronics codebase.

I'll report it but I wouldn't expect much to change in this respect. The right-click menu is good for discovery and simple use cases but for speed and ultimate efficiency you'll find as users advance in their use of Electronics their use of the right-click context menu tends downward.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Try this:
Select few files in Windows
Right click -> Properties

Does Windows show you properties of last selected file or properites of all selected files? This comes naturally, no one needs to read docs to see how it works - because all SW uses this logic.
I really hope this topic will change those bad UX behaviors of F3E.
