Moving a module in 3D mode breaks the component into pieces

I have created a module comprising parts.  However, whenever I try to move it in 3D mode the module breaks up into the individual parts and makes it impossible to accurately position.  I have broke the links to the parts but this has not made any difference.  I have also captured the positions.

I attach a screen cast of the problem.

Any help correcting this problem would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks in anticpation

Chris

Unfortunately it would not let me upload the screen cast so here are some photos:

Hi @5269chris ,

This is interesting, @yqliu is there anything that should be done with the 3D package in the library to make sure it moves as a single unit in the 3D PCB? I feel there is probably a step missing here but I'm not sure what.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

When we move a part in 3D PCB, it's expected to move as a whole. Sounds like there is a bug.

@5269chris ,  can you expand the browser and check which node is selected when you move the part?

I have been in conversation with Richard and he informs me that this is a bug in the sytstem that has been elevated to the developers.  In the meantime, a workaround is to export the file as a SAT file which strips away a lot of the background details.  Import this back in and it moves around correctly.
