Move 3D PCB Component Bug?

Hi

Today I noticed a strange behavior when moving components in a 3D PCB Document. Whenever I selected a specific component in the "Move 3D PCB Component" command, the component was immediately flipped by 90° and precise positioning with the move type "point to point" was not possible.

After spending a few hours with troubleshooting, I found out that the 3D component body always flips back to the orientation it was initially placed in the library package. If it gets moved or a joint is inserted after it is added to the package and the initial move command is closed, the "Move 3D PCB Component" shows the explained behavior.

Bug or feature?

BR, Markus

Hello @markusYG3LC ,

This is interesting, I have a feeling that the fact that a joint is in play may have a role here.

@yqliu Any ideas here, I have a feeling that something here is by design but I'm not 100% sure.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thanks for your answer. I found a workaround that works for now. Let me know if you need a screencast.
