motor electromagnetic analysis

Hello,

I'm trying to create an induction motor. Since, this is a new design concept I'm unable to incorporate the design requirements in mathematical tools like MATLAB or other motor design centric software as they have predefined block-sets.

I was hoping to design and assemble the motor in fusion 360. Once finished, I want to run an electromagnetic analysis of the 3d model to check for magnetic interference, resonance etc. followed by structural and thermal analysis.

Is this possible on Fusion 360? Further advice or suggestions?

Thank you

Hi @a_bhajan,

I hope you're doing well. I don't think this is possible in Fusion 360 on it's own. However, you may be able to create the 3D model within Fusion 360 and then use a tool like Ansys to perform the simulation. I don't know the details of what the process would look like, but I'm trying to point you in the right direction.

Hi, @a_bhajan

In Fusion360 we are not able to meet all the above-mentioned requirements. However, some analysis including structural and thermal analysis can be performed in the simulation environment.

Compare with ANSYS, our simulation tools provide an easier approach, hope you could have a try.
