Minimizing Docks with tabs

Currently you can minimize the dock on any side if the dock is converted to stack, however this option disappears when you convert to tabs.

On smaller screens especially, I find the tabs easier to use but not being able to quickly minimize and expand them negates a lot of this benefit.
