Manual Route results in extra ( unintended ) traces

When I use manual route, Fusion offers some form of assistance to guide the route.  This used to work great - It is now very broken.

I am updating a design from a dew months back - when I manually route - all of the guesses the assistance does, gets left as routes.  This results in things like this ( there should only be 2 bottom side traces.  All of the parallel traces are the assistance guesses that are left behind )

 What am I doing wrong here?
