Library search

Not applicable

Hi all,

I only started using the electronics part of Fusion 360 yesterday so this is a noob question.

When I want to search for a part/component, I'm OK looking in the libraries that are currently in use. But I'm struggling to look in the 'available' libraries that I can download.

For example, if I want to look for a specific part (something like "DS18S20" or "DIP switch"), I'd have to take a guess at the library it might be in, download/use it and then look inside to see if it contained what I'm looking for.

Is there a way of searching for a part and the search returning something like 'I think I found what you're looking for in the following available libraries'?

Thanks.

you must add all the libs to the design and later on search for example for:

*DS18S20*

the library management system  here is one big mess no any order at all, like entire software.

You will find multiple existence of same part in several libraries which comes after fresh installation. Even basic like R0805 exists in resistor Lib or in RCL lib and so on and so  on..

one big nightmare, but do not care just use a one you like...
