Layer order on pushing

Hi,

I detected what I think it's an error when pushing pcb to 3d:

When I define top soldermask layer to White:

I get the correct appearence on cam preview though I had to change the colour to white manually - in last versions it was automatic:

But on 3d simulation I get  this:

It seeems that soldermask layer is transparent on fusion 3d.

If I force soldermask layer to white on fusion 3d I get the correct appearence:

It's a bug? There's someting I can do to correct this?

Releted to this matter, you announced on last upgrade that we can choose which layers we want to pass to 3d when pushing, but I didn't find anywhere clear instructions to do it. Could you please clarify?

Thank you,

MB

Hi @mario.brizida,

I hope you're doing well. I've reached out to the developers to find out about the transparent soldermask.

Now to be more specific you can control what layers go to the silkscreen. You can do this by clicking the gear in the layer panel.

In the dialog that pops up you want to adjust the editable layer sets

By controlling which layers are in the Top and Bottom silkscreen layer sets you'll be able to adjust what layers get displayed in the 3D PCB silkscreen.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

@mario.brizida , Please try this workaround to fix the transparent layer problem:
1. in CAM preview, remove the transparency by changing the alpha value of the solder mask color to "255".

2. Push to 3D PCB.

3. In 3D PCB environment,  right click on the browser node named "1-soldermask:1" and "16-soldermask:1", change the opacity to 80%:

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, it works, but I hope you correct it in the near future. Push to 3d was perfect in most cases and now we have to loose time to adjust the aspect.
