We were professional users of Eagle. It is impossible to work efficiently with Fusion's performance. We have this behavior on almost all computers in our team.

We can live with the cloud requirement, but with this level of performance, we will be forced to switch to another tool in a few months. We won't even be able to start the old Eagle anymore. We have been using Eagle for over 20 years.

I made a performance feedback with the report ID: 107642.

PC data in this Video:
OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Enterprise 10.0.22631 Build 22631
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8850H CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2592 MHz, 6 cores, 12 logical processors
Graphics: NVIDIA Quadro P2000 (driver date 12/19/2025)

Fusion-Version: 2605.1.52

Just two examples:

I am editing a footprint and want to draw a line. As you can see, it takes several seconds before the drawing becomes smooth.

Then I want to insert some text. It takes almost 10 seconds before I can even start typing.

I made a video; on the right side, you can see the hardware utilization.

Hi @lukas.roeder ,

Thanks for sharing the performance feedback report with us. We’ve shared it with our development team for further investigation.

Could you also let us know whether the AVNet add-in is currently running? If so, please try disabling it and test again to see if the issue persists. Thanks!

Hi @lukas.roeder ,

Thank you for sharing the video. That level of performance is definitely not normal. You have a decent video card, could you check your preferences and see if you GPU is being used.

Preferences > General > Electronics > Misc make sure GPU acceleration is on.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Yes, GPU acceleration was disabled.
However, I don't think that's the main problem. I first uninstalled Fusion and then reinstalled it. That didn't help. So I uninstalled it again and deleted all files related to Autodesk/Fusion/Electron from AppData and the registry. Autodesk provides instructions for this:
https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-do-a-manual...
After reinstalling, I was able to work smoothly for several hours. And I mean really smoothly.
During this time, I mainly imported footprints from Eagle and assigned new 3D models (lots of file uploads).
I had one crash. Fusion just shut down immediately.
After that, however, I was able to continue working smoothly (again with lots of file uploads). Then at some point, the poor performance started again.

Hi @lukas.roeder ,

Could you please try the workaround below and see if the performance would be better?

Did you find a more permanent solution to the issue?

Hi @Dan.K.2020 ,

Could you please try the workaround described in my last post if you’re working on Windows? Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply. After not using Fusion for several days, it's suddenly running smoothly again. Windows Narrator and Magnifier had no effect.
I wonder what could have been the reason for the poor performance. Maybe interrupted uploads? As I mentioned, I loaded a lot of 3D models into the hub while working.
