Hi @Anonymous

the "Download bundled libraries" button origins in EAGLE and, to be honest, I am not sure if it is expected to be in the Fusion Library Manager. I will discuss with our dev team about its purpose and the intended action....

But as a quick workaround you could sort the Available libraries list by Managed Folders and select all libraries that come from "Eagle Pcb" in the list (Shift + left click). Now click the Use button. All "bundled libraries" that would come with EAGLE are usable now.
The same works with all libraries that are in the Fusion Electronics Managed Folder. Theses are the libraries that come with Fusion Electronics.

Thank you for bringing this up (again).

Best regards,

Richard Hammerl

I can see this is still a problem in April 2021 and the button is still available and still gives the same error code.  I am not at all sure the Fusion ECad unification management team are up to the task as there are just so many unsatisfactory loose ends and often gratuitous videos with glowing examples of how to magae the simplest techniques but no details on the complicated bits.

I love Fusion 360 for modelling but its Eagle integration leaves a lot to be desired and I am surprised as Autodesk are usually right on top of these things.

Hi @leslieFRT9A ,

I hope you're doing well. These are all being addressed right now with the big library overhaul. It's just a matter of time right now, because the work is being done.

Thanks for continuing to bump these issues.

Hi this doesn’t work for me either. Such a shame

Is there any visible timeline for when we will be able to access component libraries ?

Best Wishes

Hi @Anonymous ,

I have all of the EAGLE managed libraries installed in my Fusion 360 installation.  We have some improvements for this slated for near term release.

In the mean time, if the button still isn't working for you, you can click on the the first library and then hold shift and select the last of the EAGLE PCB libraries. That should bring them all in.

Let me know if you continue to run into problems

Hi Jorge

Thanks for the advice – I think I am getting there. My next question is how do I import other libraries and devices I am looking at specific MOSFET devices and also some ATMEGA chips.

Sorry about my naïve questioning - you can probably guess I am on a steep learning curve here. I am looking to design an automation and control system for a Formula 24 car from scratch!

Best wishes

Hi @Anonymous ,

I hope you're doing well. There are no naive questions. In the ADD command you can use wildcards to make your searches more fruitful. You'll find plenty of ATMEGAs and MOSFETs included in the default libraries.

So for example try searching for ATMEGA* that will bring you all of the ATMEGA chips that are in the library regardless of what characters come after ATMEGA.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
