Is there a way to make the default solder mask setting for vias to be tented?

I’m really tired of going into the settings and disabling the solder mask for vias one by one.

By default, the via solder mask settings come automatic, and I can’t change this. I also can’t cover the vias with solder mask in any way through the design rules. I tried limit, doesn't work.

I agree that it would be handy if there's a setting for the default.

However it's not needed to change the via one by one in the settings.

You can change all the via's at ones with the help of design manager to select the via's and the inspector to change the property.

Hello @furkan_torlak ,

I hope you're doing well. The full resolution of this is forthcoming. For now here's what you need to do to resolve this quickly, there is no need to do this one via at a time.

1) Select all the vias and in the inspector set the soldermask to OFF. You can simplify selecting them by going into the selection filter and setting it to only select vias.

2) In the Design Preferences > Soldermask , set Limit to 999

Now all of your vias will be tented.
