How to tie the standoff for a mounting screw to ground planes

Hi all, I’m working on a PCB with a component that requires a grounded standoff. I’m using the same standoff the manufacturer of the component recommends in the application notes, and the symbol/footprint/3d model for the component from Snap Magic. In the schematic when assigning nets, I connected the standoff to the ground net. In the 2d PCB, my board is basically done, but I have one air wire left saying the standoff isn’t connected to gnd.
I’m new to fusion and PCB design in general, so I was hoping the standoff would automatically tie to the internal gnd planes when I set up layer 2 and 5 of the PCB as gnd planes, and placed the component on the board, but that hasn’t happened. I’m not sure how to attach the standoff to the internal ground planes. I was thinking I could use a polygon pour to make a small copper pad around the standoff, and use vias to tie that to ground, but it seems like there should be a way to make the metal standoff itself tie to the ground planes in the board? I’m sure this is a noob question and I’m missing something, but any advice is appreciated!
