How to Space Wires Evenly?

Is it possible to move wires to divide the clearance evenly on each side of the wire? I often have a situation where a wire passes between two pads, and I want the wire to pass exactly between the pads such that there is the same space on both sides.

Hi @ZoltanFerenczy ,

I hope you're doing well. There isn't really a way to guarantee they are evenly spaced other than setting up your grid to be half the pitch of those pads. The DRC is always focused on minimums and that what the assisted routing modes will enforce.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Jorge,

Thank you for the reply.

There could be a command, call Spread Out, that allows the user to select wires, devices, and vias that will move and components that will act as fixed references. The command will automatically move the selected components to maximize the distance between them and the fixed reference components.

Hi @ZoltanFerenczy ,

Thank you for the suggestion. If you have multiple traces to route the multiple route mode can space traces out evenly as you route but it won't do exactly what your suggesting. Try it maybe it gets close enough to what you want.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
