How to make small pad and via in PCB

Hi, i'm try to build custom pcb using mcu (nrf52811).

I want to connect extra device(motor, force sensor, etc) with my circuit.

For now I attach pin header to it. But size of pin header is too big so it is conflict with my purpose to design small PCB. So I want to make small smd pad or via where I can solder external device on it. How can I make this in fusion?

I also try to draw polygon to make smd pad but it is impossible to route with circuit.

Any related advice or links will be helpful for me!

Thank You

Hello @kig4 ,

I hope you're doing well. Try using the wirepad library, you can enable it through the library manager. It contains lots of single use vias and SMDs for prototyping applications such as this one. The other option and the more principled one is to make a component that defines the connector you need.

See this series of videos for more information on how you can make your own parts.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
