How to import CAMoutput files back into Fusion360

I'm trying to make some edits to a board design that was created a year ago. I don't have the original project they were made with anymore, but I have the CAMoutput files still. Am I able to re-import these files into Fusion so I can make a design edit?

Hi @garrettsheadrick,

I hope you're doing well. In most cases importing gerber files into a design tool is not worth the effort. In a certain sense CAM export is a one way function, where the bare minimum is generated to get a board manufactured. You won't have a design netlist, you won't have a schematic, nor can you reverse engineer a schematic from the gerbers because these are just artwork.

If the modification is very minor(like adding a single trace) you can probably do it in a gerber editor. You can try importing the gerbers back into Fusion using the import-gerber.ulp that comes with Fusion 360, however it likely won't give you the info you need to be able to make significant mods.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
