Hi @anuradha.bodke

I could reproduce the same error message on my computer. Interesting that nobody reported this earlier. Thanks for reporting. I am in contact with the dev team.

Hi @anuradha.bodke

at the moment  I do not know how long it will take until we will get the fix for it.

As a quick solution you could export your board from Fusion as a EAGLE 9.x .brd file and load it in EAGLE and run the ULP. It does not matter, if it is the free license or a Fusion subscription that gives access to EAGLE. You can load your board and run the ULP.

I hope this helps until the fix is available.

Best regards,

Richard Hammerl

Hello Sir,

 I have a pcb panel of size 161x161mm - 25921mm Sq. area , 4 layer board

This pcb file was open in Eagle Standard no issue & I create Gerber files with drill drawing no issue

I confused I it is possible , as board size limitation in Eagle standard, Pl. clarify

Thanks In Advance

How is this "solved"? The functionality involved here is a vital part of ensuring PCBA manufacturers can build the finished assembly, Drill Legends are used for verification when cam data might not be 100% human readable for example when you have both plated and non-plated holes with the same drill marked size in the art.  My SMT assembly houses also want the drill legend data so they can check solder-mask stencils for proper apertures.

The "solution" of exporting files to Eagle makes a lot of work to do something that has been working as part of our Eagle tools for a long, long, long time.

Hi @tedEUQZT,

We are aware of this limitation and are working on it. For now the workaround is the best way.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hello there,

I hope you're doing well! I found a workaround that works in Fusion 360.

To create the Drill Table, follow these steps:

  1. Run the attached ULP drillplan3_0.ulp.
  2. Save a script that it creates.
  3. Run the saved script.

For more detailed steps, please look at this video

I hope it's helpful.

Hello Team,

as long time goes Please add drill drawing chart in pcb  it is  very important

also in pcb library editor for long hole please add flexibility of pad dimension , it is very useful while using

slotted  long pads, other pcb layout software have this facility ( pad size in L X W format)

Thanks

@ireneusz.rzepa , thank you for this ULP, very helpful!

Couple notes:

1. Is there a way to run a ULP from non-default location (on windows it's buried all the way in ~/AppData/Local/Autodesk/webdeploy/...).

It almost looks like "Select ULP Directory" should have an edit box or browse button but it doesn't?

2. Same for scripts. Is there a way to run a script from custom location? As of now (F360 v2.0.12376) I must know to save the script generated by this ULP into correct directory. I will not be able to use it otherwise.

3. Now that the script placed the legend in my design, I see that hole symbols are actually two-color. They have am extra green circle corresponding to the hole size. However, main view does not allow for two-color layers so in main view all hole symbols are missing the green circle. As a result, there's no way to tell an 8-mil plated hole from 16mil plated hole, they appear exactly the same in main view.  Is there a way to fix or workaround this?

Thank you!

2 Years have passed. I just found this deficiency in my last few steps in preparing my design for fab. This is very disappointing indeed.

Hi @ClydeClark,

I hope you're doing well. I've bumped the tickets that have this requirement specified in order to raise it's visibility.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Almost another year has gone by. Is this still not implemented better?

Hi @eric_engineer,

Unfortunately, this is still not available. I'll bump the ticket again to show that this continues as a requirement. We are working with the drawings team to see if we can get this implemented through that workspace since they are already collaborating with us on other things.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Speaking of drawings. I tried to make an assembly drawing and could not find a way to turn off traces and copper and only show the placed footprints. That's pretty standard for an assembly drawing.

Hi @eric_engineer,

One thing that can help you in the mean time while the drawings improvements are made you can use the Print to PDF option. That is a WYSIWYG(What You See Is What You Get) command, so all you have to do is turn off whatever layers you don't want to see and then export the drawing. You can repeat this for all of the assembly drawings you need.

The only thing this won't get you is the drill legend unfortunately.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
