How to connect selected pins from a multiple pin header to a bottom layer ground plane?

Hi,

I'm modifying an opensource drawing to adapt it to a new design. The PCB has an Arduino Due footprint, with pin headers connecting to the MCU. I've created a bottom layer ground plane and would like to connect selected pins from the existing pin headers to the new ground plane. I had intended to make the bottom pad for the selected pins connect to the ground plane, but I can't see a way to achieve this. The physical alignment of the pin headers is obviously important, and I was reluctant to seperate pins and potentially impact the physical positioning. Is there a way to achieve what I'm after?

Regards,

Rowan.

You need to connect the pins in the schematic, to the same net as you are using for the ground plane.
Assuming you named your planes "GND", use the GND symbol from the "supply1" library, or just draw a net to each pin and name it "GND".

We've all been there...

And with Fusion, I'm afraid we'll all be there for years.
