Fusion 360 schematics - missing Import drawing option

Hello everyone,

I noticed that Fusion360 is missing the option "import drawing", that was available in Eagle. If I am correct, only similar option now is "reference to a schematic document", which is quite different.

In Eagle, this option imported schematics and the relevant pcb as well. I was using this option for copying part of one PCB into another, when I didn´t want the copy to stay linked with the original file (copy something and then make changes to it that doesn´t affect the copied file). 

Is there any possibility to do this in Fusion360? Or will be? Thanks,

I hope you're doing well. This is currently not available in Fusion 360, but it will be re-implemented at some point. We want to do it better then it was in EAGLE.

I don't have an ETA of when it will be available but if that changes I'll let you know.

Thank you very much for asking.

Could you please try to check the checkbox of "Create a copy" in the "Reference to" dialog (both for schematic and board file) and see whether it meets your expectation? 

That checkbox is unchecked by default, but if you checked it when referencing the file, it will create a new one without linked to the original one.
